There are three types of miscellaneous amounts:
- Miscellaneous amounts for TBA Clearing,
- Miscellaneous amounts for Pool Netting*, and
- Miscellaneous amounts for EPN.
This field is used by FICC to make cash adjustments when necessary. For example, P&I payments on pools that pay down prior to delivery (i.e. have a factor of zero) would appear on a members’ statement as a Pool Netting miscellaneous amount.
*Amounts for the TBA Clearing appear with the code "MIS"; amounts for Pool Netting appear with the code "MSC."
