Buy-Ins
SMART/Track for Buy-ins is a web-based system that enables automated communication and tracking of NSCC CNS and non-CNS, such as NYSE, AMEX, NASD and NSCC Non-CNS, buy-in notices and Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) closeouts. You can use the SMART/Track for Buy-ins system to create, send, process, and track a notice throughout its lifecycle. For example, on the settlement afternoon of T+1, Broker A sends an intent to buy-in notice through SMART/Track to Broker B, notifying that broker that they have not received the expected position. If Broker B does not satisfy the position, Broker A can execute a buy in and purchase the position at a potentially much higher price.

Agency Lending Disclosure
SMART/Track for Agency Lending Disclosure provides a central communications hub for the transmission of open loan data between agent lenders and borrowers on a daily and periodic basis. This messaging product transmits open loan data between lenders and borrowers. For example, an agent borrower analyzes daily open loan files using SMART/Track for Agency Lending Disclosure.
