Client Interface Modernization and ACATS 529 Plan (2023 - 2026)

Learn about the new ACATS client interface enhancements that will modernize the client interfaces that firms use to communicate with the ACATS systems. This release also include features to process 529 accounts transfers through the ACATS Fund/SERV® service. DTCC has updated its API Marketplace with the ACATS APIs, schemas, and API Starter Kit for the new JSON standard message formats. For full access to the DTCC API Marketplace, contact your firm’s Super Access Coordinator (SAC) to enable you as an Operator.

Settle Prep and Fund/SERV Day 2 Acknowledgment Removal (2025)

ACATS successfully launched the ACATS Settle Prep (Status 300) Removal and ACATS Fund/SERV Day 2 Acknowledgment Removal (applies only to Fund Companies/Transfer Agents) into production.

  • The first day in which a transfer did not stage to the 300-Settle Prep status at the end of the day was on Friday, October 17, 2025.
  • The last day that you received a Pending status or Day 2 Acknowledgement on the Fund/SERV statistics report was Monday, October 20, 2025.

The Corporate, Municipal, and Unit Investment Trust RTTM® (CMU RTTM) service provides our customers with a secure, browser‑based trade entry management system that incorporates real-time trade matching with robust search capabilities, statistical reporting, and exception processing. It increases the efficiency of trade operations and reduces your firm’s clearing and settlement risk as well as costs. The service allows firms to maximize the volume of trades that match on trade date and ensures that trades are locked in and ready for settlement, moments after they've been submitted. It also allows firms to fix any processing problems the same day when an error occurs. Log in, if necessary, to access the CMU RTTM resources available to help you navigate.

CMU RTTM Reports

Log in, if necessary, to learn about using the CMU RTTM® Activity reports to review, reconcile, and balance your trades. NSCC members and participants can can access the Report Center to view or print these reports. The Report Center, available from the CMU RTTM Web system, includes your archived end-of-day reports.
