As part of the membership activation process, MBSD applicants are required to demonstrate their operational capability by participating in a defined testing process prior to their account activation date. This testing process ensures proper connectivity and demonstrates the member’s ability to submit and receive data. In addition, each member firm must conduct an MBSD-scripted User Acceptance Test, and be certified by FICC’s testing group, to be able to submit trades to MBSD’s production environment.
