CNS Client Regression Testing

To identify the functional impact, understand timelines and sequencing, and align internal planning, review the following DTCC Transformation Resources:

To prepare for CNS testing, perform the following tests in the PSE-U (Test) environment:
- Confirm message integrity, sequencing, and continuity for CNS machine readable input and output files.
- Verify retrieval through the current DTCC connectivity platform. No connectivity changes are required.
- Submit Exemption and Priority files to NSCC.
- Test CNS Intraday ISO15022 in the PSE (Test) environment (Subscribed Members).
Members are not required to attest to print image and CSV reports in our PSE environment until a later date as noted in the A9795 important notice. Participants should, however, ensure that they obtain and have access to the Securities Data Experiences (SDX) service in preparation for future validation of the CSV outputs. This helps to make sure workflows remain uninterrupted after the legacy outputs are retired.
View the new CSV report layouts that are replacing the print image outputs. These reports will be available in CSV format through the Securities Data Experiences (SDX) service in the MyDTCC portal. Access requires provisioning by your firm's Super Access Coordinator (SAC). Note: DTCC expects to retire CNS print image outputs at the same time as the planned decommissioning of existing CNS MRO outputs in 2028.

By October 9, 2026, all members are encouraged to complete regression testing and confirm data continuity for existing CNS MRO reports and the MT570 Intraday Position Change message, if applicable. Members can provide attestation by emailing
If no attestation or issue notification is received by October 9, 2026, DTCC will assume your firm has successfully completed testing, validated data continuity, and is operationally ready for implementation with no outstanding issues.
