Broker/dealer and Investment Manager users of CTM User Interface (UI) who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of how the CTM matching process works.

Course description:
CTM is a central matching solution allowing broker/dealers and investment managers to efficiently match and confirm trade details on trade date, increasing transparency and reducing risk. Understanding how the matching process works is fundamental for all CTM users to ensure they can quickly and efficiently resolve matching exceptions. During this training session you will learn the basics of CTM matching and the roles of both the buy-side and sell-side in the process. Users may also wish to sign up for CTM UI: Manage Your Trade Exceptions to learn how to take action on their trade exceptions.

Learning Objectives:
- Explain the difference between Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) matching fields and how they influence the matching process
- Identify and implement changes in your current matching process (for investment managers)

Find out how transactions are recorded in participants’ accounts, and the responsibilities of clients and settling banks in the End-of-Day Settlement process. Finally, you will learn about collateral and the role it plays in managing risk for your firm and the industry overall.

In this live training session, you will learn about the DTC Settlement System (Settlement Web) and key transactions involved in the Settlement process, including:

• Deliver orders
• Reclaims
• Payment orders
• Collateral loans

You will also gain an understanding of the role of the following functions within Settlement Web:

• Inventory Management System (IMS)
• Receiver Authorized Delivery (RAD) System

Finally, in this course you will learn why transactions recycle.
