The ALERT Direct interface is a real-time message handling application. It allows you to establish a direct connection between your host system and the ALERT host, enabling real-time update and retrieval of ALERT platform data. Use of the ALERT Direct interface can potentially eliminate the need to use the ALERT platform's web interface.
More detailed information on the factors to consider can be found below in pdf ALERT Broker/Dealers: Considerations Moving From ALERT Web to ALERT Direct (77 KB) , along with further technical documentation on how to implement ALERT Direct, including Programmer Guides, Message Specifications and DTDs.
