ALERT: Confirm Delivery

A confirm delivery is a request to the broker creating a confirmation to send a copy of it to a specified third party. ALERT includes this information when a broker retrieves an account.

Use the List of Confirms page to specify recipients and delivery methods for trade detail confirmations (maximum eight per account). This page is available when creating an account or editing an existing one. Use the global or account search feature to search for an account and select it from the accounts list on the Search and Maintain Accounts page.

Scroll through pages on the progress bar to switch between this page and the account's General Account information, Settlement Instructions, and Broker Access pages.

Note
If the confirm delivery data is in the Data Authentication process, the confirms that are pending data approval/authorization do not appear in the Confirm list.

Create/Edit Confirm

The Create and Edit Confirm pages contain the same fields. The Edit Confirm page also contains a button to delete the confirm. A colored border indicates a required field.

To create a confirm:

  1. Click Create New Confirm from the Confirm Delivery page.
  2. Define contact and delivery information in the fields on the editor that appears.

To delete a confirm:

  1. Select an existing confirm from Category column on the List of Confirms page.
  2. Click Delete Confirm from the Edit Confirm dialog box that appears.
  3. Click Yes on the confirmation dialog that appears.
