Alerts Summary - IM Account Alerts
Investment manager account alerts indicate changes that an investment manager made to an account to which a broker has been given access.
The Alert Summary page displays the t of alerts by investment manager acronym. Select the options for all accounts or for only those accounts that have cross-references
You can view alerts from multiple alerts simultaneously. Once you view alerts, you can perform actions (Save to PDF, Discard, Suppress) on up to 300 selected accounts across multiple acronyms simultaneously.

| When you select Alerts from the Alerts menu, the summary page for investment manager alerts appears by default. To toggle between summary pages for investment manager and broker alerts, select the appropriate option from the Search For drop-down list. |
You can perform the following tasks from the Alert Summary page:
The Alerts Summary page displays the number of investment manager alerts for a particular acronym.

On the Alerts Summary page, click the link in the Number of Alerts list or select acronyms and click View to open alerts for the selected acronym(s).
The alerts for the selected acronym(s) appear on the Alerts Summary Filtered by Acronym page. If the BIA# is Multiple(#), there is more than one cross-reference to the account.

On the Alerts Summary page, click the link in the Number of Alerts group or select acronyms and click View to open the alerts for the selected acronym(s).
The alerts appear on the Alerts Summary Filtered by Acronym page. Use the respective columns to filter alerts by:
- Changes made
- Date Generated

Click the link in the Changes column. The View Alert Originator Data Types page opens.
This page shows the account details. Recent changes to the account appear in green underlined text.

For optimal performance, DTCC recommends discarding alerts frequently. You can discard alerts from the Alerts Summary page or from the Alerts Summary Filtered by Acronym page.

| When you discard an alert, you delete it for all users for your organization’s acronym. |
- To discard alerts for accounts without an associated BIA #: Click Discard all Alerts with no X-Referenced Accounts..

To discard individual alerts: Select the check boxes next to the alerts you want to discard and then click Discard.
You can suppress generation of alerts for specified acronym/country/security combinations.
- Select an acronym on either the Alerts Summary or the Alerts Summary Filtered by Acronym page.

Click Suppress to immediately suppress the associated acronym and ALL markets. See the Suppression section for more information.
- Select the suppression criteria on the Account Alert Suppression by Acronym page.
You can save alert details as a reports in a PDF file.

On the Alerts Summary page, click the link in the Number of Alerts field.
The Alerts Summary Filtered by Acronym page opens with alerts listed for the acronym selected from the Alerts Summary page.
- Select the check boxes next to the alerts you want to include on the report, or select the top-level check box to include all alerts.
- Click the enabled Save to PDF icon.

In the Save to PDF dialog box, enter a unique report name (no special characters or spaces are permitted) and then click OK.
ALERT sends you an email when the report is ready to view. You can retrieve the report on the Reports Run page.
