inSITE: Adding a Document

The Add New Document functionality is available to the Broker Manager and Broker User (Maker) user roles.

To add a new document

  1. On the Document Management window click Add New Document button.
  2. The New Document window displays. It enables broker/ dealers to upload electronic copies of all appropriate disclosure documents to the web site. Utilize the icon to add a file and optionally enter data in the Author, Document Date, and Description or Reason fields. Click Upload button.
  3. The Success banner will display indicating that your upload was successful and the Disclosure Reference Number has been assigned to this newly uploaded document. The document information is added to the Active Disclosure Documents list.
Notes
  • A broker/ dealer must subscribe to Confirm Disclosure before accessing the inSITE service. In addition, each user must be authorized to access the inSITE service.
  • Once you upload a document and it is confirmed to be correct, you cannot remove it from the web site if it has at least one profile associated with it. You can delete a document if you have not assigned profiles to it.

Adding Profiles

In addition to uploading the new document, you can also add or manage its associated profiles. The document and its data have a supporting role to the actual profile data. The profile data is the enrichment criteria used in the CTM or TradeSuite ID service to match a trade to its associated disclosure document. Without the profiles, there can be no enrichment.

To complete the process, select the new document to review it and then click the Add/Manage Profile(s) button.
