WARR - Working with Warrants Subscriptions

  1. On the Corporate Action Services page, under Instructions and Inquiries, select Warrants Subscriptions.
  2. If a signon window opens, type your user ID and password and click Submit.
  3. On the Warrant Menu, enter optional data:

    CUSIP

    Type a valid CUSIP number.

    Custody Processing

    Select one of the values:

    No This is the default, and is required for a warrant reversal.

    Restricted for custody/restricted warrants.

    Custody for custody warrants.

    Participant

    Only if you are a group user: Type a participant number for the warrants you want to view.

  4. Select one of the following options and click Submit.
    1. Warrant Inquiry

      Choose this option to inquire about eligible and priority warrants, and to view lists of previously entered warrant transactions.

      This option takes you to the Warrant Instruction Inquiry application.

    2. Warrant Exercises

      Choose this option to enter your instructions for a warrant exercise.

      See Notes on Exercises and Reversals below.

    3. Warrant Reversals

      Choose this option to reverse a previously entered warrant exercise.

      You need to enter the system-generated transaction ID that appeared when the warrant was originally entered.

  5. After entering the appropriate data, click Submit.

    You will have the opportunity to correct any errors and re-submit until an acceptance message appears.

  6. Click Confirm or Cancel.

    Note:

    On a warrant exercise ensure that you retain the system-generated transaction ID. This is required in order to reverse the transaction.

Notes on Exercises and Reversals:

  • You are solely responsible for verifying the details of an exercise or reversal, and for determining whether to submit a transaction or to cancel it.
  • You can submit only one exercise or reversal at a time.
  • If you exit the page without clicking Confirm or Cancel, the record becomes an incomplete reversal.
  • You can only enter reversals if the warrant exercise was processed the same day, the warrant exercise was fully made, and you still have free position in the underlying CUSIPs.
  • If you have elected to use the Release Reorg application to control input of reorganization instructions, you will be warned that the transaction will not be processed until you release it through Release Reorg.
