PREM - About Worthless Securities

The Worthless Securities application allows you to request that securities be moved from your account into DTC's house account (account#8899).

When to Use

Use Worthless Securities when a security is deemed non-transferable due to one of the following situations:

• A warrant has expired
• A Corporation is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy
• A debt issue is in default

Worthless Securities is available on business days from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. eastern time.
