DAMP - Viewing Deposit Details in PBS

You can view details of previously entered regular, bearer/nontransferable, or reorg deposits.

  1. From the Securities Processing Services home page, select Deposit Automation.

    If prompted, enter your user ID and password.

    The Deposit Automation Management - Main Menu page appears.

  2. In the Option drop-down menu, select 6 - Inquiry and click Submit.

    If there is more than one printer associated with your user ID, you will need to type a Branch ID to continue. You can call DTC's Network Operations to determine the Branch ID for your particular site.

    The Inquiry Menu page appears.

  3. In the Option drop-down menu, select one of the following:
    • Deposits (Current), to view current deposits

    • Deposits (History), to view past deposits.

      You can view up to 60 days of deposit history.

  4. If you selected option 2 Deposits (History), enter a date in the Deposit Date field in mmddyy format.

    You can click the calendar icon to use the calendar tool to select a date.

  5. Optional. To view specific deposits, type values in any or all of the following fields:

    • CUSIP: Type a CUSIP number to view deposits for a specific security.

    • Deposit ID: Type a 10-digit deposit identification number to view details of a specific deposit.

    • Reorg Deposits: Click the selection box to view reorg deposits only.

  6. Click Submit.

    The Deposit Detail Inquiry page appears.

  7. Optional. To display additional details for a specific deposit, place the cursor to the left of the desired item and click Submit.

    For regular deposits, the Reference ID and Deposit Value fields appear near the bottom of the screen.

    Note

    Actions cannot be performed on deposits that are designated any status other than 'Pending'.

    For reorg deposits, the Reorg Deposit Detail page appears.

  8. Optional. To print a ticket for a regular deposit listed on the Deposit Detail Inquiry screen, place the cursor to the left of the desired item and click Print.

  9. Optional. To modify or delete an item, place the cursor to the left and press one of the following:
    • Modify: to display the Deposit Modify Function screen
    • Delete: to display the Deposit Delete Function screen.
