ALERT: Working with a Future Effective Model
The future effective model functionality enables investment managers to efficiently manage custodian changes on an existing access code. This functionality ensures the BIA (broker internal account number) remains cross-referenced to the existing access code when the investment manager changes an account's global custodian.
Use the Set Future Effective SIC button on the Accounts > Settlement Instructions tab to add your existing custodian model and activate the model settlement instructions up to 90 days prior to the effective date of the custodian change.
