Global Search

Use the global search feature to search for accounts and models. Search is available on the header to the right of the navigation bar on each ALERT page. To select the search method, use the Search For drop-down list. Available search methods include:

  1. Select Account - By Acronym from the Search For drop-down list.
  2. Enter an acronym or search for one:
    1. Enter a full or partial account access code to refine the search.

  3. Click Search.

    ALERT returns a list of accounts that matches the search criteria.

Cross-references link a unique Broker Internal Account Number (BIA#) to an ALERT acronym and access code and market (country and security), if you choose. Use this search to locate an account by your BIA#.

  1. Select Account - By BIA# from the Search For drop-down list.
  2. Enter the full or partial case-sensitive BIA# to search for.

  3. Click Search.

    ALERT returns the account that is cross-referenced to the selected BIA#.

You can maintain lists of BIA numbers the using the BIA List page.

  1. Select Account - By BIA List from the Search For drop-down list.
  2. Select a BIA list from the drop-down.

  3. Click Search.

    ALERT returns a list of all accounts cross-referenced to the BIA numbers in the list.

You can search for settlement models by the model owner’s acronym.

  1. Select Settlement Model from the Search For drop-down list.

    The current model owner is shown in the Model Owner text box.

  2. Enter an acronym or search for one.

    ALERT populates the Model Name list with all models that the selected acronym owns.

  3. Select a model from the Model Name list to refine the search.

  4. Click Search.

    ALERT opens the model on the Search and Maintain Models page.
