As previously noted in Important Notice A#7913, P&S#7483, dated October 16, 2014, DTCC implemented the ‘Unassigned Risk Entity’ for all users of the DTCC Limit Monitoring tool. This risk entity monitors trade activity that is not currently assigned to any existing risk entities.

DTCC Limit Monitoring Enhancements (11/17/2014) Popular #

Effective Friday, November 21, 2014, NSCC will implement a new notification type sent to users of the DTCC Limit Monitoring tool. The new notification will advise firms in real-time of changes to the set-up of their risk entities. Reported updates will include creation and deletion of risk entities, creation and deletion of trade arrays, updates to the net-notional amount or updates to the content of other fields.

Starting on October 17, resolution notifications that trading activity has fallen back below thresholds, after those thresholds are breached, will only be delivered to Members by e-mail when the activity falls below the level-1 (50%) threshold. Resolution notifications will not be delivered when trading activity falls below any of the other threshold levels.

As previously announced in Important Notice A#7824, P&S#7394, dated April 24, 2014, NSCC implemented into production the DTCC Limit Monitoring email functionality starting on April 30, 2014. DTCC allows e-mail address input into the tool for those NSCC Members that have set up all of their trading limits in DTCC Limit Monitoring, and have completed the initial limit level ‘calibration.’
