The Depository Trust Company (DTC) offers a wide array of services for processing corporate action events. These services include announcing details of upcoming events and providing participants with information about their entitlements, accepting and acting on their instructions, and collecting, allocating, and reporting payments across various corporate action event types, including distributions, redemptions, and reorganizations.
Events supported include cash and stock dividends, principal and interest, capital gain distributions, full and partial calls, final paydowns, maturities, and other events.
Here, you can find information in three major areas, as well as supporting documentation for corporate actions processing in general.
- Corporate Actions Web, or CA Web, is your interface to DTCC's transformed processing of corporate action events. This learning center provides the Help topics for CA Web as well as the CA Web User Guide that compiles all of these topics into a downloadable format. You can also find connectivity and administrative information here.
- The ISO 20022 Messaging section explains and details the use of our new messaging formats throughout the Corporate Actions lifecycle. You can find user guides for different event types, message specifications, data dictionaries, scenarios, and detailed resource information that explains them all. Our award-winning ISO 20022 Messaging User Guides are available here as well.
- The Corporate Actions Services area presents information from the Service Guides, divided into articles for ease of use.
