Search and Maintain Accounts

Use this page to search and open accounts.

Searching for and Opening Accounts

You can perform detailed searches on the Accounts page. Select from two available search methods in the Search For field:

Accounts - by Trustee Account Number

    1. Leave all search field blank to return all access codes associated with your acronym.
    2. Select an Institution Acronym from the drop-down menu to refine your search by investment manager acronym.
    3. Enter a full or partial access code in the Access Code field, or leave it blank to return all valid access codes.
    4. Enter a full or partial account number at trustee in the A/C# @ Trustee field.
    5. Click Search.
      ALERT returns a list of all matching accounts and displays the:
      1. access code

      2. account short name
      3. Institution Acronym
      4. A/C# @ Trustee
      5. date and time of last update to the account

        You can click column headers to sort the list accordingly and use the navigation links to scroll through the list.

    6. Click a link in the Access Code column to open the account's general account information.

Accounts - by GCD Status

    1. Select a filter option to search for your accounts by status:

      1. In Retrieval:The Access Code has been converted, but that the GC has not yet retrieved the request.
      2. Pending: The GC has retrieved the account, but the SSIs have not been linked to the access code:
        • One the GC sends in one success SI for each account, the Pending Counts change to zero.
        • trustees and investment managers should monitor the Alerts tab to review the SSIs that the GC has received.
      3. Rejected: The GC has rejected the request for conversion. Contact the Global Custodian for next steps.
    2. Click Search to return a list of accounts containing your search criteria.
      ALERT returns a list of all matching accounts and displays the:
      1. access code
      2. account short nae
      3. settlement instruction controller
      4. model name
      5. a/c # @ global custodian
      6. date and time of the late update to the account

        You can click column headers to sort the list and use the navigation links to scroll through the list.

    3. Click a link in the Access Code column to open the account's general account information.
