Global Custodian/Final Beneficiary/Executing Broker BIC Requirement

Regardless of a country’s clearing requirements, always populate the Global Custodian/Final Beneficiary/Executing Broker BIC when entering settlement instructions.

DTC Pledge Arrangement with Federal Reserve Bank of New York

A Depository Trust Company (DTC) Pledge Arrangement pledges securities held through DTC to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBN). To leverage this arrangement, enter the following Country-Method-Security combination and relevant settlement instruction details on the Alternative Instructions page on ALERT Web: US-TRY-DTC.

Collateral SSI Setup

Set up collateral SSI on the Settlement Instructions tab and use new alternate security types to support collateral SSI management.

• FXC to support FX and Cash SSI Structure
• EQC to support Equites Structure
• CBC to support Corp FI Structure
• TRC to support Govt FI Structure
